Happy holidays

We hope you have a wonderful holiday season! We just returned from our trip to Orlando. This photo was taken in front of the Christmas tree at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Spencer just had his haircut earlier in the week at the Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. Everyone enjoyed riding "it's a small world" and the carousel in Fantasyland. We also participated in some of the taping for the Christmas parade and watched another parade later in the day. We also went to the Gaylord Palms to see a number of live shows including Luminesence featuring an aerialist and the "drummer in the sky."

Birthday party video

Birthday party!

The girls had a birthday party at the YMCA. There was a dance class, followed by painting, then eating, unwrapping so many wonderful presents and then playing in the Y with friends. We had a great turnout!

Birthday at Disney World

The girls went to the Magic Kingdom on their birthday. They were there when the park opened and got to ride a lot of rides before a late afternoon rain sent them back to the hotel where some delicious birthday cake awaited them!

Dance recital

Scarlett and Sienna performed in a dance recital in July. They really enjoyed taking dance classes together at the YMCA. They hope to continue their lessons in September. They had a wonderful instructor, and they presented her with some pink roses.

Moving up ceremony

On June 7, Sienna had a moving up ceremony for her pre-school. (Scarlett's school had an event on June 5, but Baba forgot the camera!) Nevertheless, both Scarlett and Sienna are enrolled in this pre-school for the summer session! (Scarlett's regular school doesn't offer a summer program.) They really enjoy their schooling and are getting a lot out of it. Spencer aspires to attend this pre-school in a few years. Above is a photo of the girls leaving for school on a typical day.
